Omen description confusion

Do you mean we can only activate ONE omen per map run? What does it mean per combat instance?

I was swarmed and trapped during one unlucky breach instance in a map. Omen of Resurgence triggered, and I am still unable to break free from the swarm as I am trapped in an unlucky corner of the map. I was dead moments later and Omen of Amelioration still sitting in my inventory, active.

It did not protect me from the fricking 10% EXP lost.

Just want to clarify if this is bug or intended feature.

Also if what I understand from you, per map, one unique omen allowed? Which means, if Omen of Resurgence was consumed to top up my HP, I cannot expect another active Omen of Resurgence to work on the same map again?

Thanks for the clarification. Then I rather have Omen of Amelioration active than anything else.
