endgame atlas and maps feedback

What pisses me off is the whole idea of chess thing to boost the maps with towers, the drop rate and everything is behind rng and buffing towers to maximum and on top of that buff the map itself too, we ALSO need to choose carefully WHICH map to use the GOOD buffed map and if it has good content on the map too, or we gonna just waste a godly map for example of a "crypt" map.
The atlas, forgive me for saying this, is a complete failure. gotta do a complete revamp. or it will always be this super boring thing that we feel playing a chess game of finding 3 towers, buffing them, choosing maps, choosing waystones, and choosing good maps to use them. You see? its just too much decisions for a thing that we supposed to just insert a waystone and go for it, kill things, hope for a nice loot and thats it. the waystone should be juiced and thats it. If GGG wants to keep the whole idea of the towers, just make them give us vision and thats it. Its SUPER tiring this cicle of looking 3 good towers, good tablets to buff the 3 towers, good waystones , good maps , etc etc etc. and on TOP OF THAT HOPE FOR GOOD LOOT. for real. i cant Dernier bump le 28 avr. 2025 à 20:18:17

" I think one issue is waystones are useless trinkets. We should just slam into the map device directly. I think towers should be clustered more often because if I can't find 3 overlapping towers I'm not interested in that region of the atlas. It's useless, empty, and nothing worth wasting time on. I think they should have a "path of corruption" which you have to cleanse...so basically it guides you through getting the nexus' and finding citadels. Maybe just a path through the atlas that isn't fogged up so you know that's the direction you need to go to progress your atlas. Because running maps is not worth the time til you have most of your points and find a cluster of towers |
