Impending Doom and Eldritch Empowerment

Doom Blast appears to be triggering the 3% ES cost of Eldritch Empowerment. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but it kinda really sucks to lose 60+% of your ES in one go because you killed a mob of enemies that you had already paid ES to curse in the first place
