SPIRIT LOSS WHEN I GAIN DEXERITY

I have all points in the passive tree identical to the build above, including all my ascendancy points. I am now applying the extra points I gain towards "Proficiency" for extra dex so I can wear a lvl 80+ Quarterstaff. Whenever I go above 163 dexterity with NO OTHER CHANGES to anything, gear or passive (If I gain the dex through either passive points OR GEAR, this happens as well), I lose SEVENTY spirit.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something I don't understand? Please help!
