Bypassing Charm duration by repeatedly un-equipping and equipping charm
|
1) Be Infernalist with Grinning Immolation allocated
2) Equip the following items: - Pragmatism Explorer Armour - Beira's Anguish Dousing Charm 3) Use a spell with many hits which lingers, e.g. Eye of Winter. Ensure high critical chance in order to trigger Grinning Immolation self ignite. 4) Repeatedly un-equip and equip Beira's Anguish Result: The Dousing Charm 'Grants Immunity to Ignite' effect is removed upon un-equipping the charm. This means that equipping the charm once more and getting ignited will trigger Beira's Anguish unique effect once again. Pragmatism is necessary so that the charm doesn't have a cost, as typically un-equipping the charm will result in charges being lost; however, the armor allows its effects to be triggered immediately after equipping. - - - Considering how powerful the charm effect has proven to be, thanks to various methods to increase its damage, this abuse of game mechanics can trivialize the contents of the game with too little effort and investment. I strongly believe this is not working as intended. Dernier bump le 2 mai 2025 à 00:30:00

Tested while on burning ground.
WASD movement is the only way to replicate what you're pointing out. If you use the click to move method and try to juggle Anguish, it does not bypass the duration. So, only bypassed with WASD movement. Dernière édition par Anjeil#2836, le 2 mai 2025 à 00:34:35
