Disconnected during waystone map - Inventory emptied and map closed

I was doing a map and my character started to stutter. Character then froze in place while the ping climbed up past 20,000 then disconnected me to the login screen.

Logged back into my character and was returned to my hideout with the map closed indicating a failed attempt, and wiped my inventory empty.

Second time this has happened.
