How to improve my char (huntress - ritualist)
I have some trouble in killing bosses and doing maps. I assume, i do something wrong or i am wrong equipped. Can someone tell me how to improve?

The problem is not you but ggg. You just cannot play bad builds in poe 2. There is only 1 build currently. They dont know what they are doing.

" Stop. They're asking for help, not for a Dropamine goblin diatribe. Slackito: I am at work and can't see much of your build, but Tangletongue is a low-level spear with effectively null damage for a level 84 character. As best I can tell, you're using Trinity to try and gain a large damage boost by having little bits of flat added elemental damage of all types all over the place while using Tangletongue for extremely high crit rate, but it's hard to get enough flat damage that way. You need to focus very heavily on added flat damage, not the percent damage increases I'm seeing on your gear. Percent damage doesn't help you if your base damage is so low. Given that you're a Ritualist using Mystic Attunement, finding rings with really big flat damage rolls will be the most straightforward way to increase your killing power. Each of your three rings should ideally have two different flat elemental damage rolls, and they should be big chonker rolls to boot. That will improve Tangletongue's damage, as well as improve your ability to inflict shocks, chills and freezes to aid in further killing and defense. Thanks, thats what i thought, i need to increase flat damage to have my crits really be crits and not just warm air :)
I have 1 div and maybe 20 exalts. What stats would you look for? phys dmg and lightning dmg? I checked what i get for 20 ex and only found about 20-25 phys dmg. - the "good" rings start at 1 div, which is really a lot :/ |

You can get flat elemental damage on rings, amulets, and gloves, so shoot for those first. If you have to choose between getting one good roll and two mediocre rolls, go for two mediocre rolls. You can also socket a rune into your spear for a big chunk of flat elemental damage.
Don't bother with flat physical rolls. Those are smaller than elemental flat damage rolls, they don't help your Trinity, they're more expensive than elemental damage, and you can't get enough of them to matter. Try to keep your overall balance between fire and cold relatively even. Ideally you should be alternating between most-damaging elements regularly via variance on damage rolls, but if you have a total of 100-200 Fire and only 40-80 Cold, you'll never trigger Cold Resonance. Lightning is ridiculously swingy, but even then - a bunch of smaller rolls will tend to average out rather than be a single big swing, so keep an eye on it. If you notice that you're gaining tons of one resonance and little of the others, try changing the balance of your flat damage rolls if you can. But yeah. Get flat elemental damage on every gear slot that can roll it, and try to get two such flat damage rolls on your rings that get the boost from Mystic Attunement. Even if they're middle-of-the-road rolls, having two flat elemental rolls each on three rings with a +25% boost should provide a noticeable spike in damage. EDIT: Thought of another thing you could do. If you can find room in your skill set-up, you can run Rapid Assault. Your build is definitely trying to be a ranged-only, I can see that, but Rapid Assault generates a lot of hits in a small period of time which is very good for building Resonance quickly. Spearfield can do a semi-similar job, though it trades reliability for reach. Both can also turn on stuff like Retreat Support and Stalk and Leap, since they deal melee damage. Also not sure why you've got so much Bleed stuff in your skill loadout considering your build seems to be focused on chucking high-crit Lightning Spears. With your super low physical damage, your Bleeds won't be worth bothering with. Trade that out for stuff revolving around your Trinity interactions if you can; you're centering the whole build on this super expensive reservation, why not make it work as hard for you as you can? I have a really good build so far for the ritualist. Clearing t 15s in 2 min or less. I have been playing around with flat lightning damage on rings, I have a spear that has flat physical damage + increased % physical damage and a high flat lightning damage roll of 149. Then in my skill tree i've been focusing on shock and electrocution. I have no crit damage at all I am building it as if I were a caster. I one shot about everything and bosses are not much of an issue either. because i'm also using primal strikes for bossing with tons of lightning damage. on your rings go for as high of flat lighting damage as you can afford ideally if i had 3 rings with flat lightning damage of 99 on all 3 I would melt bosses in a couple hits. My biggest issue is my defence once in awhile i'll get one shotted by a boss or mob. once i get asta it will fix that issue.

Kikos current plus fury charges is the best for me i constantly have 3 furry charges using those gloves with my build tried howa don't come close to the damage i get using kikos current or whatever its called. i am constantly shocking and electrocuting bosses then hit them with my primal strikes while electrocuted and take half their life.

I have to probably re-consider a lot of equipment... i did not find any amulet with added damage, so i guess this can only be added to rings and gloves. that means for me, i should probably replace my existing amulet with one that only has resistences so i get as high as possible on all of them with only the amulet.
then search for rings/gloves that add damage in a balanced way (fire, cold, lightning, chaos?). the thing is, i have some things that need e.g. int, and i have that int on the rings, so i need to check where i get that int now from :/ feels a bit chaotic... would an amulet like this make sense: Amulet Item Level: 82 Requires Level 56 +35 to maximum Life 43% increased Evasion Rating +66 to maximum Energy Shield +18 to maximum Mana +16% to all Elemental Resistances +22% to Cold Resistance +34% to Lightning Resistance Sum: 104 Then i could go for a ring with max damage and only fire res Dernière édition par slackito#7058, le 22 avr. 2025 à 06:24:18

i replaced the amulet with one that gives tons of resistance so i could easily drop one of the rings without even noticing it. i replaced one of the old rings with one for 10 chaos, a lot of money but a huge improvement. i deal now nearly 17k dmg with light spear. i did a t15 map without problems. i will make some maps and earn some more exalt/chaos and replace the other rings too.
with this great piece of software (path of building) i can even test what will happen (in regards to dmg) before i even buy a ring :) thanks for the help! only thing that bothers me: i have about 1.8k life and 500 ES, but thats sometimes not enough and i get one hit (phys. dmg). so i assume i have to replace my body armor in the future too |
