Lost Points after Respec Passive tree

I just respecced my passive tree. I put points into the Patient barrier node, but after confirming changes it greyed out oddly, and then showed that it and the node before it were not comitted, and those two points were gone. I know for a fact I had enough because I needed 8 points to get there, and now if I respec to the same spot, I only have 6.

This really sucks and makes me not want to continue playing if this cannot be fixed.
