Game Crash in “Dreadnought” – Persistent Crash on Reload (PoE2: Dawn of the Hunt)

Difficulty Level:
2nd difficulty level, PoE2: Dawn of the Hunt

Location:
Dreadnought

Issue Description:
When entering the Dreadnought location on Veteran difficulty, the game crashes consistently. Upon attempting to reload the save and re-enter the area, the game crashes again immediately, resulting in an endless crash loop that prevents any further progress.

Reproduction Steps:
1. Start or load a game on 2nd lvl difficulty, PoE2: Dawn of the Hunt.
2. Progress to the Dreadnought location.
3. Enter the location – game crashes.
4. Reload the game and try again – crash persists.

Frequency:
100% (every time)

Additional Notes:
• The issue has been reproduced on both Xbox Series X and PC (Steam).
• A friend has experienced the exact same issue on Steam, confirming it is not platform-specific.
• Restarting the console/PC or reinstalling the game did not resolve the issue.

Expected Result:
The game should load the Dreadnought location without crashing.

Experiencing this issue as well, huntress with large tamed beast.

I am getting the same issue but it's on Steaming Springs map. I had a Quadrila as a pet, prior to the crash the map looks like this below:



My character is now permanently stuck, I cannot progress further. This is a show stopper.

EDIT: After 30 minutes, my character is back to town. I can play again.

Constant loop of crashing @ Dreadnought, Cruel Campaign. Same as OP.
