An argument in favor of changing the current dev road map

I just wanted to share with you guys some theory crafting in regards to why I think GGG should work on releasing Marauder next in place of Druid.

The reason for this is because Marauders are supposed to start with the Axe, whose one handed version at the very least seems to have a ranged attack and the ability to be paired with other melee weapons.

This has the potential to really help out Str based classes, because many bosses have mechanics that are unfriendly to melee users. The packs of mobs in this game aren't very forgiving either, as they kill you with patches of corrupted blood/poison

It can be a turning point for dual wield builds, because unlike in PoE1, in PoE2 it will matter as they will dictate how you behave as a melee toon.

Hamer and Axe can be the combo needed to elevate the Hammer playstyle by allowing the player to apply pressure from afar, before diving to stun, without having to endure the weapon swap mechanic.

While I can understand the need for a Str-Int class hybrid, the hype behind druid and the need for more fire spells that aren't locked behind martial weapons, I think releasing a caster before a martial will delay the necessary gameplay testing that needs to be done for melee.
