Failed my first Corrupted Nexus now locked out of endgame content!?

So I failed my first corrupted nexus. Maps gone and now I can't progress quests for atlas points? All the other corrupted nexus nodes I find won't let me access or put a map I'm them. This is a major bug and honestly makes me not want to play anymore.
