Recommend me a HC build

Anyone can recommend me a HC build that is not spear. I want to use something else, I'm done with softcore since it feels very dead. HC seems more active and i really want to get used to HC.

Since we are having build diversity issues, i don't know which one would be cool to play in HC other than spear. Any recommendation is appreciated.

Played hardcore on SSF Ruthless in og game and had fun as been using/utilising all available defensive options more than ever, but...

Big butt is server stability issues here, disconnections and rollbacks, mostly on european GS's. Lesser butts, but still, are nature of some 1shots and not well working defense, armour stat specifically.

Thats why ive ditched hardcore and just stayed SSF, focusing more on roleplay than anything else. Hardcore adrenaline is overrated.

What are your goals on hardcore journey? Is it journey at all or just seeking fresh and stable economy, climbing ladder or just staying true to build theme youve chosen and just enjoying days until guaranteed expiration date?

Smith of Kitava with 90% max resist. Many players are doing that on HC. Even more on SSFHC, as it has a low cost to work well.

You can build around boneshatter (I don't like it though, but it is "popular") or around Fanatic Greathammer + Polcirkeln + Herald of Ice.

Personally, I'm doing a Fanatic Greathammer build, but with Herald of Ash. It is doing T15 really well after I got a weapon with nice roll.
