Act 3/6 still feel like they drag-on too long

I just finished playing through the campaign with all the recent changes, and with one exception the campaign felt good in terms of zone length and difficulty.

Act 3 and Act 6 still feel like they drag-on too long. The changes to the individual zones feel good, but the pacing just feels off. On this playthrough I almost received both ascendancy quests in cruel and was not able to complete either quest because there were no keys provided by the lead up quests, and the ones that did drop in act 6 were too low to progress the ascendancy regardless.
