Dodge roll stopped working

My dodge roll recently quit working after a patch update. It was working just fine and now I'm unable to use it. I play on the xbox x. When I push the button to activate it. I can see the dodge light up but nothing happens. Not sure if there are more people experiencing this or just me at this point. It is quite annoying as now I am continuously dying because I cannot evade attacks. Any help of info would be appreciated. I also tried a reinstall to see if maybe that would repair it.
