My goal in playing Diablo-like games is to kill every enemy I see as effortlessly as crushing ants.

I enjoy taking on challenging bosses with mid-game gear, but if even a fully optimized build in this game still forces me to spam dodge rolls to survive boss attacks, I'll uninstall it and find a proper Diablo-like game.

D4 is good for that

Sounds exile-like to me
Or it would have been, last year |

This game was made to be a challenge & if your not one shotting bosses that means your not up to par yet. Now getting to that par IS NOT EASY. You have to perfectly gear up do some math of all the % base numbers & etc once it's all there you can one shot bosses. It takes time but how much all depends on you. I will say thus it's easier in PoE2 then poe1.
Diablo was mean't to be an easy stroll in a fun park not a challenge. I hope you enjoy! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3516602

" I mean, one-shotting bosses in PoE1 is pretty easy. The only case where it takes a really well geared character is "Ubers" because of the "less Damage taken" nonsense. Remove that mod, and we kill "Ubers" in a second. [Removed by Support]

I disagree it is not that easy. Poe1 is a trade hustle honeypot.

" Thank you for your response! To be honest, in version 0.1, I experimented with rarely chosen characters like Acolyte of Chayula and Titan (both with <2% pick rate), and invested roughly a week of effort to optimize them to a point where they could effortlessly defeat the final boss. What truly disheartens me is that in version 0.2, except for popular classes like Amazon and Deadeye, characters with <5% pick rate might lack viable or engaging build paths to reliably take down the final boss, which completely kills my motivation to experiment with them. It reminds me of a critique I saw on another forum: "Out of over a hundred skills, we ended up with two viable classes and maybe five functional builds." |
