"Bannerman" does not work on allies

My duo and me invested a lot of time and effort building our chars, only to find out, that the notable "bannerman" is currently bugged or the wording is wrong.

I am running tactician using banners to provide him all the benefits. Ofc he annointed "bannerman" in the tree, so when he walks out of the banner-area he still is getting the benefits linger for 4 more seconds.

Sadly it does not work on him, so its either bugged or the wording is wrong and it should read "banner YOU place linger for 4 sec". If thats the case, banner-support for groups is already dead on arrival.
