Coming back to POE2 since POE1 alpha
|
As one of the players to play POE in alpha back in 2012 and stopped playing after the game became too complex i want to say thank you for making this game great again. Please do not listen too much to the dopamined addicted minority phD's who play the game for 17 hours a day(which i kind of do tbh now haha) and then complain there is no endgame when they have turbo blasted through all of it and min/max everything...
You guys are doing a fantastic job with the art design and principles, and this is only early access! fantastic work! Dernier bump le 17 avr. 2025 à 00:15:05

You better off going to play Last Epoch. You are literally wasting your money and time on POE2. You are better off playing POE1. That is legit advice.

I'm a parent and full time worker and I believe the game has missed the mark massively with my limited time I get to play.
Not detailed enough. Not enough depth to systems. Bosses spam 1 shots. Build diversity non existent. Somehow balance testing is non existent. Loot non existent. Scaling non existent. Mapping content that they delayed the game to make right non existent. That says a lot. Dernière édition par Th1sGuy255255#8969, le 16 avr. 2025 à 22:56:46

" I agree generally, but this patch has presented some issues. Overall though, I do love this game. Stupid people never lose an argument.

" Yeah I already saw it and honestly it looks like shaiiite compared to POE2 not even hating just honest. " The game is not perfect no game is. Its in EA and they are doing a great job and I am still having fun. Currently a lvl 93 kitava enjoying the endgame. I actually glad I picked kitava as its much slower gameplay style and I do NOT actually like playing one button builds. Idk why so many people do its not fun for me just leads to burn out... |

I also work full time and have a wife and 2 kids. Couldn't disagree with you more (quote didn't work, but this was at the guy talking about working full time).
1 boss in the game is a dumpster fire (I posted a whole thread about it), but other than that, it's all a matter of just using the time you have effectively, and if that means, in your case, learning the game - then learn the game. I spent weeks just learning on release, didn't even try to progress because I knew what I was getting into. PoE is a deep game, with a lot to learn - if you want a casual blast, there is always D4, Torchlight, or Last Epoch. Now, when I run into an issue I knows it's an issue, because I spent months learning every nook and cranny of this game. Anyway, I hope that you give it a shot and be patient with it, because the more you know, the more fun you will have. Stupid people never lose an argument.
