COUPLE SUGGESTIONS AFTER NERF

1. Making 3rd ring slot available for all characters. Either as default or to be optained after a quest at high/mid level. after the latest nerf, most of the characters suffering from both, attack damage and survivability. Unfurled finger should be available for all characters. A class having +30% (at least) damage bonus over others is unfair.


2.Monk has nerfed greatly, maybe old spirit reservation could be brought back? "Lead me through Grace" was the only option to increase spirit for monk without sacrificing survivability. After the latest nerf, which monk got affected hugely, restoring "Lead me through Grace" can actually make people to not quit monk totally.


3. Extra passive skill points in the end game. End game should include side quests so people can earn passive skills, at least couple of them, during end game. After character hitting lvl90, there is not much to be done other then trying a new character. Further improvement of the late game would be very very lovely.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! I HOPE SOME DEVELOPER CAN ACTUALLY SEE THIS AND COMMENT.

1: i am all for getting builds to the same level. build diversity ftw!
adding a 3rd slot however, won't do it imho. that would just make Gemling and Ritualist worse, since it's part of their ascendancy to precisely get such stats boosts. they'd have to put in quite some effort and reworking stuff. it's not that simple to balance stuff :-)

2. can't say much. don't like the monk solely because of the accessibility stuff that keeps ruining my gameplay.
GGG pls add a "Advanced Targeting System" to the option-menu so ppl that don't like getting screwed over by "smart" algorithm can just disable it. thx <3

3. yes i'd love more stuff to work for in endgame other than rolling gear in your hideout.
tho we must keep in mind: there might be more content incoming, i.e. act4 and act5 (have seen a vid of the art book in which those were mentioned). this may change a lot of things around, we can't say yet. we're only in 0.2 after all

side-note: the missing acts likely are also the reason why campaign and endgame feel kinda different gameplay wise. we most likely are lacking the content in the middle. GGG might be doing a lot of changes to that once the entire thing is available.
so pls don't complain about "even more boring campaign" because we cannot possibly know how it eventually will play out.

1.To me yes, diversity is what people looking for. However, through the forum there where discussions with a phrase saying that that "why you need to play "the best" when it's no fun to you?". I think this is understood in a wrong way. Correct me if I am wrong but, every single player wants to be powerful as much as others. However, right now there are no options other than to make "the best" to be actually enjoy the game because it is not only about having fun but also building something which is uniqe but also created by the player (in this case a small portion of the whole build).

Actually giving players more slots to fill (for monk with spirit points or ,to all classes by extra skill points) "OKAY, I have built something that wasnt very likely to be played like that but "it is fun" and also "it is still working", which, indeed, what diversity means to some of us. Not just setting a limit of a class by the "rules of game" but bit more by players imagination, would be very appriciated. Maybe you are lacking some content not in the middle but maybe in the further? I dont think level cap should be increased, I think a part of this middle cap, as you say, can be build by the players.

oki: you're wrong. i'm running melee dot in t14 rn. i am having fun and not "the best" build. i think you're projecting your own preference on everyone, which isn't a healthy approach imho. also it's no pvp game, so why even put yourself under that pressure. :-)

"every single player" how would you even wanna know. many ppl playing the game aren't even participating in the forum or that :D

some folks also very much do enjoy theorycrafting, it being a big part of the game anyway i don't understand why ppl just copy paste builds anyway *shrug* BUT to each their own ofc.

don't get me wrong here: if your interpretation of fun is to use "the best build" there is, that's up to you and you're doing it to yourself.
but not "every single player" does share your preference. different ppl are different =)

i like my tryhard melee dot build. i certainly won't change that for "meta".

btw generally speaking, not talking bout broken builds that need to be nerfed: meta is what on average works the best, for most ppl, under most circumstances. it's just a statistically averaged thing. this does not mean however, it IS the best. because what use is it, if it doesn't suit you? not much. i certainly can't play a 1-button build solely because i can't focus when i'm bored to death and wanna uninstall the game. thus to me, those builds are much worse than my own builds that are fun to me.

again, different ppl have different preferences. if you rely on "best build" to have fun, you're doing it to yourself :-)

For one if they actually allowed you to level up, you would get more passive points.
