A Question on Random One-shots

They have made significant improvements in the random one-shots where I had no idea what killed me. It doesn't happen to me near as often, however, it does happen occasionally, and I am trying to narrow down the reason.

As near as I can tell the fireball attack that comes straight down has no telegraph and the lightning strikes from above sometimes have telegraphs. Same thing with the corpse explosion attack. Sometimes they glow before detonation other times they do not, though I could have very well have not seen the telegraph.

Anybody else notice this and is it due to the server stutter that seems to be happening as of late or is there something I am missing?
