Disconnects followed by teleport across the map and deaths

Are random disconnects going to be fixed any time soon? Since this patch, every couple maps the game just decides to disconnect and after reconnecting I find my character half away across the map dead. How can I even do maps with only 1 attempt if that continues happening? Tbf this is even more enraging than all the bad designs in this patch, especially that it wasn't even fixed until now.
