The main problem woith ths game is gearing, and crafting is the worst ive ever seen

as a level 38 bleed ritualist atm--- jsut as most every toon, your weapon is the most important aspect of your career.

ATM my spear is 27-54 damage.

We are about a week into the game, and

1. I cant craft a better spear because you literally need 100s if not 1000s of every orb to go through all the rng to get the roll you need.

not 4 like i have.

2. I try to buy an upgraded spear, and you know how much they cost to actually buy and upgrade?

50 exalts to 500 divines atm-- and it will only get worse.

3. the chinese, koreans, and russians somehow corner the market and inflate pricing while also duping.

3a. this leads to massive inflation that apparently the devs care less whats going on.

the solution is to improve the crafting system.

D4 is a crap game, but------------- at least i can make things i need.


the only thing about last epoch that is bad are the graphics, but otherwise, the crafting and gameplay are spot on.

As a fresh, new player there is ZERO reason why i cant craft decent gear to use, and why gear for my level costs the equivalent of $100s of real money transactions to buy.

this is the main reason why poe2 will only be playable for the very elitists.

And if you, grinding gear want that, then there is a reason why a chinese comopany named tencent owns you.

I would say the main problem is balance. Most ascendancies are plain unplayable. 3-4 viable builds is not enough
