End Game Quest - Cataclysm's Wake

I hit mapping yesterday.

How do you complete this quest? I killed the corrupted nexus boss (died once) and it didn't give me the quest completion & rewards. The corruption nexus is gone and the surrounding nodes are now "cleansed" (whatever that means).

Is this a bug? How are you supposed to advance your atlas?
