I'm baffled at this.

Just finished campaign on my chunk (invoker last league).
I do not EVER want to do that again. There are things that truly baffle me. Right around the end of act 2 on cruel, you patched the zones but by then, I think the damage had been done. I don't think I've ever played a game where during progression, I increasingly felt weaker. This is the exact opposite of my previous play-through. I'm really confused by the intentional design and balance choices and why, for the love of Pete, did you release this? Take glacial cascade for example: It's crap. It's not even close to the efficiency as storm wave but its my only option for a while at that point. Most of the monk skills are crap. I'm back doing tempest flurry and the bell. When I first learned that 0.2 was coming I thought FOR SURE acolyte was getting some love. Nope. Instead of fixing the classes in the game, you introduce a new one. Then I thought FOR SURE the new "100+ support gems" would compliment the acolyte. lol No. They're mostly for the new stuff. How about the new uniques? Surely they will have something? No. "Well thats your fault for picking a garbage ascendency." I guess I didn't realize that this company would allow this state of the ascendency to be an active option. Oh but you'll fix it. Next patch when you can advertise it. The damage is done. I went into this game blind and loved every minute of it. I cannot emphasize enough how much I talked this game up. I got two friends to get it. It was great. Now I feel that marketing this as a live full release while still calling it "early access" is just kind of gross. But, I made it to maps. Now, the lag spikes that I have gotten 50% OF MY PLAYTIME just when I feel like I'm making progress will cost me XP instead of just time. In addition to that, I'm one of the lucky few that got to experience that attack speed/movement bug. Starting in act 2, my attack speed would just half. No debuff, no icon, nothing. Even the portal speed was slowed. The only way to fix it was to exit the game completely and start again. This happened at the minimum of once an area. That's fun. Now that I've ranted a bit, let me close with this: I never, EVER want to do that campaign ever again unless its full release or you cut out cruel and double the XP so people can get to maps. Playing through the campaign is just that bad. From my first step into the campaign every mob will stun/interrupt. EVERY SINGLE ENEMY Every one of them. Look, if you don't want me to use tempest flurry, TAKE IT OUT OF THE GAME. I had some serious mana issues for a while. Wanna know why? Because every tempest flurry counted as 2 or more. I was getting interrupted out of the first one so I had to hit it again. Dodge roll is ok if you want to bounce and roll around every enemy in the campaign. Have fun finishing it in a month after the economy is priced out of your range. Cant gear enough to negate it because nothing useful drops. Can't craft gear without orbs. If you need to make the all of the sweeping changes like you did with this patch then you need to take it offline and put it back in closed beta. Stop advertising this like you would a full release. Campaign was AWESOME! In 0.1.0 that is.
I like playing through the campaign, and so did you, so the obvious thing to do is FIX it, not removing it completely. Hard agree with the feeling that in 0.2.0 you felt like you got weaker as you progressed. That stuff has no place in the game. |

Im struggling also to do the campaign a second time. I stopped now at Act 4 Final Boss and i feel i dont want to do this again.
Every fight in this game is a challenge, now i feel challenged to hit the login button. Im mean challenging content is ok, but if every single mob and every single boss ist challenging, then this gets very fast exhausting. There are a lot of cool bosses in the game, but its so stressfull. I really would like to bash through every act and then have 1 or 2 really challenging boss fights per act, but nearly everything is difficult. You feel so weak all the time, no loot, no crafting. Everything good about an ARPG is missing. Everything what poe 1 has. |

" I would change your wording from "challenging" to "frustrating". I've attempted 3 maps so far and just quit the last one without finishing. The lag is so bad that I'm stuttering to death. There isn't any point if I can't level. I'll be stuck at 67. |

Can't upgrade because I need orbs to do that. ORBS DONT DROP. This shit is so frustrating. |

" Orbs drop less frequently, but they absolutely drop. What did you do with your exa from campaign? Based on your previous posts you certainly didn't use them to trade for upgrades -- surely you have at least a dozen? Assuming you have been salvaging, you should have enough Armourer's Scraps to grab another half-dozen or so on the exchange. |

I feel almost as bad for you as I do the Pathfinders.
It's hilarious that even after completely gutting the usable skills on Monk, they are still the only ones you can use. Really good one. I'm laughing my ass off. Except instead of out of my mouth it is out of my eyes, and instead of chortles it is tears. |
