Trials?

Are trials still honour crap as I'm not coming back till its removed.

Still bad.
I think they did not say anything about changing it either.
But I agree though that they need to rework this

It's still garbage, unless you roll lucky 7s the whole way then yeah man it's awesome. But if not, it's awful and an absolute insult to player's time

I didn't see any changes to the horrible Trial experience. Extremely disappointed.

Considering the amount of updates / new content on 0.3, it seems people who are frustrated with the trials are minority or plainly ignored by GGG.

Pretty bad that they didn't do anything to address how awful an experience the trials are, especially for your last 2 Ascendancy points. I quit the last 2 leagues over it and won't be playing poe2 again until its addressed.

no better way to put it, complete waste of time and extremely annoying. Needs to be 100% removed or redesigned from ground up.

i look at the trials and i come to the conclusion:

1) the trials are purposefully designed to be difficult, annoying, time consuming, and challenging.

2) the trials are not designed to let a weak character succeed and become stronger.

3) the trials are designed to be completed by a character with very strong build and gear, and to make an already strong character to become even stronger.

4) hence the character must be very worthy and capable to begin with to even think of completing the trial.

Feel like the addition of Trial of the Ancestors in a4 for a 3rd point is going to clear up a lot of disdain people have for these trials.

Doing one round of Sekhemas in a2 isn't that bad.

Doing one round of Chaos in a3 can feel like a gamble because one some builds getting one of the bird bosses combined with some of the trial mods feels like an instant bricked run unless you are super over-geared/leveled.

The 3rd point is then either 3 ToC gambles or 3 floors of Suckhemas and personally, I choose the Sekhemas trial, and you can definitely be bullied by RNG into cursed runs through no fault of your own. Get the right boons and you're fine, the wrong afflictions and hope you've got another hour left in your day to redo the trial.

This is part of the overall (unusual) game system and will never be removed (including the XP penalty).

This game is designed for people who have ample free time and are not currently employed.
