shop: redeem key option?

Hi, i just want to know if we can buy microtransaction goods and instead of using them is possible to gift them by creating the redeem code. This would open the possibility to organize some event with prizes, can some dev clarify it plese?

Good idea, I hope that GGG has something planned for this.

My assumption is that the devs said that you wont be able to *trade* microtransaction things.

I think what Alsyma meant is that some people will buy microtransactions items and sell them for ingame currency meaning it would become similar to p2w.

That's why i still say that i hope that GGG has something "similar" planned that wouldn't create such a possibility.

I see your point but with the redeem key it would be difficult to just trade in the normal way.
Microtransaction goods won't go on the trade tab and tell me if you would give your unique away for the promise of a sequence of letters/numbers for the redeem key (or viceversa, telling they key and not receiving the item).
My point is, if i want to make some kind of event, a personal race or whatever, instead of giving away things from my personal stash, as a organizer i could buy things from the store and the winner of the event could redeem them, this would open a whole lot of possibilities to promote the game throughout custom events, since personal leagues are still in dev stage.
