Eh, i think im done. Just not having really any fun.

Almost done with the campaign, end of act 2 cruel and not really having any problems. I am level 62, artillery ballista build and my /died is like 29 so not really too bad.

Problem i have is well, its just not fun.

Loot drops are just not there. I am or was running around 60 rarity on my gear and even when you kill rares that the wisps pump up, im getting 90-95% blues. Yeah got a few yellows along the way, but im mostly mostly wearing gear anywhere from level 18 up to mid 30's, think i have one piece of gear that is level 50. Loot really is the core of these types of games. I dont mean loot explosions every other monster but loot should be steady. Loot as in other than blues and whites.

Crafting, crafting is fun but since the loot drops are so sparse you really do not want to experiment or really craft things on your own. Its better to just save up the crafting orbs and just buy something off another player. This in itself makes crafting, for me at least, not fun. I would like to be able to craft stuff as im leveling up whether its a new Chest, boots or something. Sure you can upgrade the whites to blues and add an affix or two but its just lackluster.

Trading is absolutely atrocious and immersion breaking. You are in the middle of a zone, knee deep in the killing mindset and here comes joeblow. Hey id like to buy your craptastic thing you have for 1 ex. Invite him to group, leave the zone back to your hideout, trade with joe and back you go. That is if Joe doesnt try to jimmy you down to some ridiculous price along the way or say, oh man i only have 1 armor scrap will that do? This doesnt even touch on if you are trying to buy something off someone as most of the time you get ignored, especially if you followed my guide on making yourself a millionaire.

Identity scrolls, why are we still having to use identity scrolls at this time in gaming. I have tons sure, but why even bother with them when you can roll back to town and have all of your items identified at once. Again, breaking your train of thought on trying to get through the zone. Why not have the little amount of items you get already identified so we can just leave the garbage on the ground.

Speed of monsters, man i dont know where they come from but some of these mobs are really super fast. I mean blink and they are all up in your grill. Glad i dont play minions, that would be bad.

Other than those couple things, i like the game, it looks nice but the fun factor just really isnt there. I understand its early access and their train of though was to just make everything not really bad but maybe start from the ground up. I will wait until some changes are made and maybe come back if something else doesnt grab my attention.

Campaign cannot shower you in loot, simply because if it did, then that would need to be continued through to early endgame.

If the baseline were to be set so high, then once you started adding mechanics and modifiers onto your maps, you'd be swimming in loot, which is what they are trying to avoid, clearly. This is not POE1 and it boggles my mind that people cannot understand that simple fact.

My advice is to stop playing trade, only then can you learn to appreciate something other than *tink* items dropping, because you're not on a hamster wheel of chasing currency for your next purchase.

Then again this is wishful thinking and I warned GGG a long time ago that getting their audience used to instant gratification would bite them in the ass one day. Well, that day has come.

He's not asking to be tinked and showered with godly loot, he's saying a level 50 shouldnt be struggling to find an upgrade past level 20. There is a big difference there. Don't get it twisted, and quit fanboi'ing. I've seen maybe 5 lines scroll in the last hour in global chat. The grind is real and you're a minority here.

The game is tedious and slow, monotonous. It's like a great game but underwater so everything is a struggle to do instead of being fun.

It's more No Rest for the Wicked than POE now. Sadge.
