feedback from campaign and early maps

Like the patch so far, big improvment from 0.1patch in alot of regards

Campaign feedback:

-the game is hard and monsters are fast
I dont know what the solution here is. I dont mind the game being harder, but once you start pushing the limits of combat, maybe you pull 2 packs the game just starts feeling broken. Like youre getting stunned, pushed around, interupted when you try to fight back. For the most part its not a great experience to start with.

-rare mobs are alot better. Theres still too many like AOE spam effects and on death effects imo. I 100% like mobs like the bug in act3 that explodes, or big boys that inflate and blow up. But having a pack of monsters that just spawn aoe around them all the time is not fun to fight against.
But overall I like the mods on rares be more targeted

-theres barely any loot dropping, no targeted crafting or targeted farming.
I've hit a wall few times, like titan act2 or Moten Vault boss act3
When this happens as an RPG player my first reaction is that I need to get stronger, not better. I think this is a CORE of any ARPG. I dont enjoy beating my head against a wall, I like going back, farming some gear and levels and then try again. There isnt really any good option right now to do that during campaign.

-Bosses are great! I cant think of a mechanic that would be BS. They are the best part of campaign and feel great whenever you kill them in 10seconds or 10 minutes, it feels rewarding.

-options on passive tree are lacking. Alot of them are just super straigh forward they are all placed on the optimal path around your class. But once you pick all of them at like level 60. Theres like very few rewarding options left. Youre left with specilizing in stats you dont really want, conditional defense or offense points, non impactful dmg scaling nodes.
I really think there needs to be more defense on the passive tree.

-again on no loot dropping. I see no value in rare mobs ever not dropping items that I wanna pick up. I dont think having a guarantee 1rare item from a rare mob would be too much.

-setting is great, zones look awesome and unique. I like act 3 alot, even with the longer zones Ive never felt bad full clearing them and exploring them.

tldr on campaign:
-more loot dropping
-less speedy mobs
-bosses and zones are great

Early Endgame feedback:

I love the new progressions system. I climb up to a tier that feels comfortable to do and never fear of running out of maps to run. When I feel ready I start pushing higher maps and it just feels much more natural and less grindy.

The new passive aquisition is also great. But so far I didnt get many of them. Yet to find out how to unlock the league specific points.

The towers are alot better too. Right now I go from tower to tower and corruptions when I find them.

One complain I have right now in early mapping is that theres maybe too many maps close to eachother. It can be a bit overwhelming to decide where I want to go, when theres no obvious choice.

Maybe put in some death end maps? So you have a more clear paths to follow and then some dead end maps that could be like unique, or higher mob level.

Some more teasing of whats to come if you keep running the maps would be great too. Like the citadels, but more. Like places on the map that look very unique but are also locked until you progress.



Dont think I am gonna play past level 90. But am looking forward to follow all the changes and next big patch.
