"Ascend Traitor's Passage" - Did not unlock using Desert Map

When I used the Desert Map to get the Traitor's Passage, it didn't load the area. I travelled back to Vastiri Outskirts successfully using desert map. Now, I do not have the option to travel to Traitor's Passage in the Desert Map, and the waypoint is not unlocked.

There doesn't seem to be any way to walk to Traitor's Passage.

Seems I am stuck. Please help.
