Occultist tree is over crowded with minion variety. Use support gems to support variety instead.
Minions, offerings, chaos, physical. That's more types than the elemental tree. And minions over represent on top of that. Minion builds aren't going to use more than two types of minions at most yet half the tree is dedicated to the variety.
Chaos spell casting options are lacking. It's ED + contagion or hexblast. And hexblast just died with the new changes. But at least there's enough chaos skills to fill the skill bar. Physical spell casting options can't even fill half the bar. To solve this: I'd like to offer an idea. Have one "skeleton" minion skill, and use a support gem to change the skeleton into it's physical and elemental varieties instead of having those varieties take up spots on the occultist page. This opens up room for physical and chaos spell variety for the occultist. Dernier bump le 3 avr. 2025 à 17:48:42

You arent wrong about some of this, but also a lot of these skill diversity issues will be filled as new classes come out. With flails/druid we'll probably get a healthy amount of physical spells, and with daggers/shadow will come more chaos spells. Is it safe to assume each new weapon will come with its own set of ~20 skills or so?
