PoE2 is a fantastic game! However, it can fall into a dark pit if...
As a veteran of the Diablo franchise, I want to caution everyone about the potential consequences (theoretically, I do not believe that will happen - it looks like GGG hired people with brain) if GGG loses its direction and strategy which in my opinion is very good right now! (Yes I complain XP Penalty, bad crafting, Trade, missing good end game with Waystones)
Here is the Blizzard Strategy which in my opinion will lead them to Ubisoft situation in near feature. This is also the reason I left this disappointing company after 20 years. 1. They do not listen to the players' community at all! 2. They base their entire business on a group of individuals in white shirts and ties. From the top—however, most people are unaware of what Blizzard actually does! 3. Because of the second point, they release unfinished products due to pressure from upper management. The situation with Diablo 4 serves as a prime example of a major catastrophe. Throughout Blizzard's history, a similar situation has also occurred with Warcraft Remastered. 4. To ensure the company's continued operation and prevent its collapse, Blizzard released Diablo Immortal, which is regarded as one of the most aggressive microtransaction and pay-to-win games ever created. Its monetization strategy is so extreme that it has been banned in several countries across Europe. 5. Statistics show that players often leave games or stop playing, prompting Blizzard to intentionally buff certain characters. For example, the Barbarian received buffs during the first couple of seasons, followed by one of the most famous buffs in gaming history: the Spiritborns. Players on forums were left wondering whether to laugh or cry as damage numbers soared into the quadrillions, with the damage difference between Spirit and other classes exceeding 5000% (and no, this is not a typo!). 6. The prices for cosmetics are horrendous, and the packaging looks awkward (who is doing these cosmetic skins ????!!!!) 7. Free to play for a short period of time (this is a really bad situation for Blizzard with Diablo 4 when they start doing this). 8. The Pinnacle: Rainfall of Dropped Loots (Check YouTube for instances where some players wait 5-10 seconds to stop looting from random reward chests) 9. One-button lawnmower system for playing games. Yes, I used a macro on my keyboard to play this game with just one button—there are no strict rules like GGG has with multi-press keyboards in a short time. 10. Crafting mechanics that are poorly designed require players to engage in a tedious game for 24 hours a day to gather materials, which are easily lost due to a heavily controlled random number generator (RNG). 11. The worst Paragon System invented in ARPG game history This list can run forever. I am happy that I start to play PoE2 and forget this trauma from Blizzard..... Dernier bump le 18 mars 2025 06:25:32
