The Biggest Problem Facing GGG
The biggest problem with this game is the POE 1 fanatics who wants to incorporate ridiculous POE 1 mechanics to POE 2. This actually ruins the core design of POE 2 they just copy and paste the code and design from POE 1.
C'mon wakeup GGG, it's Year 2025. Player based mentally today is different from POE 1 era. 99% of POE 2 player based are casual players and they are not POE 1 zombies who can play your game 24 hrs. and 7 days a week. Your game will not survive before actual launch date, because you keep on imposing dirty mechanics to the community. Players will just leave out of frustration, look at the charts on how many players stop and quit playing. You need to think this over if you want the community to continue playing POE 2. Stop listening to the suggestions of POE 1 community that they want this features and mechanics also to POE 2. " GGG does not just "copy & paste" the code. It is as false as the claim that "GGG copies many PoE1 assets into PoE2". Furthermore, if they would just copy PoE1... why are some PoE1 players complaining that it is so different? " 99%? Are you able to prove that? No? Then stop making up things. " Again and again. You don't understand the data. You look at "max player count" and "current player count" and think "Yep. That's proof that the game is dying/dead", while the evidence actually proves the opposite. So, I repeat myself: This population's behaviour is totally normal. https://poedb.tw/us/League#ConcurrentPlayers PoE2 had on Steam a maximum player count at the same time of 578k and on day 100 of Early Access 40k. Compare that to any PoE1 league and you see it fits perfectly the pattern. Furthermore, the overall performance of the player population was even better than PoE1 leagues. " Sure. GGG should instead listen to ppl without any clue. |

" LOL the charts your looking at is inconsistent with the actual data readily available online. You can even ask GGG to provide the data you need. |

" This community is about POE 2, not POE 1 charts. |

" Doesn't matter because the behaviour is the same. PoE1: https://poedb.tw/us/League#ConcurrentPlayers PoE2: https://poe2db.tw/us/League |

" LOL, stop your misleading post POE 2 has no league yet. It's still on early access stage . . . Dernière édition par MarcoBezzecchi#3752, le 18 mars 2025 05:23:07

" I try to be as civil as possible despite Asmongold as the source. While builds that basically delete even the hardest end game bosses in the game should not be as strong and present as they are in PoE2 atm because, believe it or not - I prefer slower gameplay too, BUT are you even aware of what you are looking at!? The amount of thought that was put into the creation of this buildtype (Ward Loop) is incredible. You would play PoE1 for 1k, 2k or many more hours without being able to comprehend everything that is needed to come up with such a build. This is nothing you can easily achieve because someone with an insane understanding of the game and its mechanics/interactions had to reach that point of knowledge and even if it is presented to you in a guide to follow - you know the path, but it's not super easy to walk on it. There are multiple really tight thresholds you need to overcome, you need to get the gear to do it and that's not easy either and so on. The build isn't even "broken", it's just incredible for mapping while bossing has actual risks IF you don't know how to avoid them and/or are able to negate them with... well... more investment. The entire point of PoE is that you can become "a God" at the end, and you just try to push the limits as far as possible. Imagine you want F1 to be removed because YOU only enjoy driving your family car... but on a racing track. Nah dude. |
