End game
Feedback on Path of Exile 2 Endgame:
Hi there, I wanted to share some thoughts and feedback regarding the endgame experience in Path of Exile 2. To ensure clarity, I used AI assistance to help organize and format my input. Here are my key concerns and suggestions: Gameplay Frustrations: The swarming of adds (additional enemies) in endgame encounters makes it particularly difficult to survive as a mage. The balance feels skewed, as mages lack sufficient tools to handle such overwhelming numbers effectively. This creates an unfair and overly punishing experience compared to other classes. The map-based progression system in the endgame feels unnecessarily harsh. Players are given only one life per map, and dying forces a complete restart of the map, erasing all progress made. Additionally, the experience penalty upon death makes leveling characters at this stage feel overly frustrating. Loot Drop Issues: The loot system in the endgame feels unrewarding. Clearing challenging maps and defeating difficult enemies rarely results in meaningful or high-value loot drops, which can diminish the sense of progression and accomplishment. Suggestions: Rebalance swarming mechanics to ensure that all classes, including mages, have viable strategies to handle large groups of enemies effectively. Introduce checkpoint mechanics in maps to allow players to resume progress after death, rather than starting over completely. Reduce or remove the experience penalty on death in the endgame, as it makes progression unnecessarily punishing. Improve loot tables to ensure that the difficulty of encounters is reflected in appropriately rewarding drops. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback—I hope it helps in refining the endgame experience for all players! Dernier bump le 15 mars 2025 19:54:47

aggree about loot drops.
because drops are 99.99% trash, but players want good equipments. so players only have 2 ways to go. 1. buy from market with high price. 2. build it by themself. which will coerce players to gambling with Div,Ex Orbs. players expend money, GGG benifit. |

Endgame is a joke and a very bad one at that.
I've officially given up on this game for now, after coming back from two month hiatus.. i don't know what i was expecting or hoping for but i gave the game ye old college try and leveled up a legionaire, traded for the best items i could afford on my meager budget (cos never seen a significant gear upgrade drop which is.. cool) and got through the story and started mapping and after finishing the "quest" for tier 6 maps i'm just.. done. There's nothing to chase for, no connective tissue here to bind things together.. the mechanics ripped from the first game are a joke.. Expedition is gutted, Delirium is hilarious but for the wrong reasons cos i, the guy who hasn't killed a single god, get referred to ass godslayer by the Strange Voice cos they couldn't even do the bare minimum and get a voice actor to record new lines and instead just copy pasted it on, dialogue and all. Economy is busted, loot drops are awful and i just can't do it anymore.. in the first game, by this time i would have already encountered Maven by now, activated Searing Exarch influence and likely Eater of Worlds as well and would be well on my way to focusing on content i want to run but here and i know this is early access and all, there's nothing, nada, zilch.. just run maps, then more maps, then some maps and after that, hey.. more maps and at some point enough is enough. Maybe the hyped 0.2.0 update fixes some things, but unless they seriously overhaul the economy and balance out the drops then it'll just be more of the same, more of the unrewarding map running, praying for one god tier multi divine drop to happen so you can fund your build and that, to me, just isn't good enough right now. |
