Level 96 no connection to more citadels

I tried going around but there is just no connection anymore. I have done around 20 citadels and now I can see 2 more iron citadel-beams, but there is no (!) way around to get them. Since i am here: Expedition seems to be the biggest waste of time, due to lousy rewards and endless searching for the right cursor. Breach and Delirium are great, Ritual something I don´t touch, because there is no benefit in it either. If you manage to improve endgame, it would be great. Cheers
