Unexpected Disconnections SHOULD NOT TAKE MY PORTALS

I just lost an incredible map and tons of items on the ground because of unexpected disconnections.

I hate this game right now. I'm being punished for server problems at no fault of my own.

This feels awful. Makes me want to quit playing.

Thats a major problem with the death penalties.
Didnt play D2 but to my knowledge that had death penalties and the devs want to emulate that experience

However wasnt that an offline game? where server instability, lagspikes and disconnections wouldnt factor into the equation of dying

Please correct me if i am wrong but to try to keep the same mechanic/penalty from an offline game and transfer it to online where deaths can be entirely not the players fault seems kind of retarded to me. there needs to be some sort of compromise
