Remove EXP loss on death for the next patch.
New big patch is close, right? Lets say that is a new league. Remove EXP loss on death for the duration of the new league and compare the statistics or player engagement, feedback, retention.

If you are referring to mapping, I'd rather GGG make it so you don't lose the map on one death and allow a person to try so long as they still have open portals remaining. However, if they still fail the map on the last portal, then they lose the XP.
Essentially, keep the current outcome but allow a person to try again. |

The devs are not listening
I think we should change tact, lets advocate for proper penalties no half measures. Make it so the XP loss can delevel you! yes thats right make your level go down! Remove omens. Remove the pause feature so you cannot logout instead of dying Make level 100 a real "challange" then the most elite skillful players can really show off when they get to 100 gone are the "well plan when to do hard content or bosses and only do them at the start of a level" excuses. which is absolutely ludicrous btw i mean why not? the logic is the same XP lose is XP lose why the half measures... as constantly stated XP and level doesnt really matter after a certaim point right boys? Lets truely test the devs vision and see how the hardcore fanbase reacts once their character level starts to go down I'm serious make it happen GGG. " That's a solid point. We play boring/safe until we get to the point where we cant lose EXP. Then we do challenging content. Either implement your EXP penalty properly and DE-level characters with skill point loss or remove it. Dont forget to DE-level the ascendancies also after a certain lvl loss! But when you have all resistance at max, 18k armor, 2.5k hp and your hp isn't going anywhere at the map you just suddenly see the respawn screen... As if I run with 1hp...
