POE 2 Disincentivizes Friendship

I have a couple buddies who are getting into POE and got early access. We've been having a lot of fun playing together and doing maps. As we progress further the difficulty upgrade for doing multiple people in one map is definitely felt, which i totally understand. For the most part this is totally fine. It can be annoying sometimes, but whatever still alright to deal with as long as I'm with the boys. Boss maps can be pretty scary and pinnacle bosses, wow these are hard with 3 of us. We all can easily blast through solo, but with three of us we are in for a long fight and god dam do they hit hard. Losing 10% exp really sucks when you get into the 90s and playing together makes it so much more rippy. To top it off all the loot is split between three of us. OUCH! While we all love playing together POE 2 really disincentivizes us to do so. I understand it should be harder with more of us we have more damage it is pretty reasonable, but i think that there could be some sort of better balance of difficulty to reward. The way it is right now really makes it less rewarding to play with my friends than it is to play by myself. Huge bummer to be completely honest. PLEASE MAKE PARTY PLAY MORE REWARDING TO PLAYERS!

Agreed, there's a lot they can do to incentivize group play.

Right now they mostly disincentivize group play, and you've noted some of the drawbacks - alas there are many more.

We like to play with our friends, please don't make it hard to do so.

Yeah so far, overall multiplayer feels pretty bad when compared to single player. I think its for a number of reasons some stand out to me more than others, like you said, bosses are rippy.
It seems like a lost cause. GGG spent 10 years to create a reboot for his little bubble. The game was born old.

All my friends who tested the game have already abandoned it. Who knows, maybe POE3 will be something that won't waste our time.
