Will this game be good by 2030? 2040?

Just trying to get a time frame on when this "awesome" experience will actually be available?

Is "early access" just an excuse to charge money for a game that will never be finished?

Why do people let GGG get away with this?

The alpha and paid closed beta of path of exile 1 was 3 years.

It's still going strong 15 years later, if you're gonna compare it to anything compare it too that.

GGG did fine then with a 3 year period of the game not being free to play or finished.

So you're saying the game will be playable closer to 2030 than 2040?

Such is the life cycle of ARPG's I guess. Release unfinished and unbalanced work and add to it over time until it becomes good. New content is often hit or miss. Just remember, everyone is a beta tester.

People these days are not as smart as people were 20 years ago.

Companies everywhere on this planet know that.

Customers are worth nothing anymore...

If they stick with it and keep regular updates wich they are not doing at the moment since 3 months have passed from the begining of the early acces.

They did no major update for 3 months. They are not doing what they promised, a class per month or whatever.

But if they stick with it and make the right choices and updates in a couple of years it can be good.

Me and the 2 bro's I lived with all donated money to crowdfund or whatever it was for Poe1 in mega early stage - happy I did, game was eventually cool.

Not so happy I spent 30 on EA for this but not because it's EA but because its nothing like what they said it was going to be like and because of shit like seeing druids and spear using videos yearssss ago and still not having them now, like 2 years later you still got issues bro? GTFO. It's not their first rodeo so it should be as slow but so far it's far more behind and seems like the trajectory is very much a downward spiral so far...

Hope it picks up or I'll be here for a long time whinging (I have no life)
