Path of Exile 2 Crashing Randomly - Need Help!

Hey everyone,

I've been having a frustrating issue with Path of Exile 2. The game crashes randomly, and I can't seem to figure out why. Here's what I've tried so far:

Ensured my PC is fully up to date.

Checked all drivers, and everything is working fine.

Deleted and reinstalled the game multiple times.

Even reset my PC, but the issue persists.

The crashes happen without any error message. The game stutters briefly and then shuts down completely on its own.

Here are my system specs:

NVIDIA App version: 11.0.2.337

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.26100

DirectX Runtime Version: DirectX 12

Driver: Game Ready Driver - 572.70 (Released March 5, 2025)

CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K

RAM: 64.0 GB

I've done everything I can think of, but the crashes keep happening. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I had the exact same problem. My PC was getting old so I built a brand new one, and STILL was crashing. And I had a 9800x3d, so there's no way it was my CPU fault.

However, what helped for me was switching to Vulkan instead of using DX12. If I use DX12, I crash 2-3 times an hour almost. With Vulkan, I think I got one crash ever.

You HAVE to use Vulkan IMO. Which sucks if you don't have a ray tracing GPU.
