The problem of unstable game frame rate after the update

After yesterday's update, if you enter the alien map without any setting changes, the number of FPS frames will drop from 30 to individual digits, causing the screen to be stuck and unable to play normally. Even the screen settings are all the lowest, and there is no effect. I just want to play the game smoothly, so someone can tell me what to do?

I don't know what the alien map is? Sometimes the game engine can get weird after playing for awhile, best to restart. Have you tried each AI upscaling method or tried turning it off?

If I were you, I would use the hideout option when possible. Have you tried lowering your resolution out of game? You could assign some extra virtual memory but I doubt it would help much.

When it comes down to it, it's probably hardware related which sucks because it sounds like it was working fine in the past. Try removing any bloatware and look at task manager while closing down whatever is taking up excess memory.

Last thing that comes to mind, look up the issue pertaining to your hardware on POEII forums. Hopefully you find a solution with enough trial and error, good luck!
