About the witch fire master self-injury BD damage game balance problem

It needs two uniques and a bunch of regen for endgame setup. Which makes it much weaker than other masteries. The fact that weapons do not scale it is important because that would put it over the top(also that fact means that certain unique exploits are off the table).

It is also a risky playstyle that requires careful management.

Its numbers may SEEM big (300% spell damage compared to a 160% staff, +6 levels of all spells with no investment), but that is before you concider that staffs go up to +7 spell level, +50%cast speed(compared to demon form 25%) and also that staffs can have crit chance, crit bonus and extra % damage of cold/fire/lightning.

Demon form is actually not that good compared to a high value staff when you are trying to do hit damage. It is however really good for DoT.
