Temple of Chaos Issue NEEDS resolving

So I just did Temple of Chaos for my last ascendancy points, I killed the boss on the lower part of the arena, went up, saw the portal, clicked on the portal-

And poof, no ascendancy points. The reason, is because I did not click directly onto the statue that was outside my screens visibility. No problem, I'll just go back in and--- Oh wait. I can't go back in to get my ascendancy points that I spent hours getting.

Please allow us to teleport back in to collect ascendancy points; so myself and other new players do not have to waste hours redoing something we already did, because of bad design. There is no reason we should not be allowed to teleport back in.

Yes for the future I know to make sure to get my ascendancy points. But regardless there for a fact will be others who accidentally click the portal to leave thinking it's taking them to go get ascendancy points, or the points were awarded automatically after the bosses death.

Bad design, please fix it. Give the points automatically or let us teleport back in. I hope to save others hours of wasted time

Yep. Happened to me too. Really annoying, because there is no reason to not get the points because you fail a single click that has nothing to do with combat or gameplay.

I beat the first 3 on my own and paid a div to get carried on 4th just to avoid wasting my time on GGG's poor design decisions frustrating the hell out of me.
