Email support is Useless
I contacted support on December 9 asking that the credits be transferred from the empty account to the account where I was playing, because by linking my Steam account with the POE account this created a subaccount that I was not aware of and that I did not ask for in the first place and to which the credits were not assigned but which was selected by default to start. and after hundreds of hours and having 2 characters in endgame and being surprised that my credits still did not appear and having the need for inventory tabs and taking advantage of discounts, I created a character in the other account just to buy the tabs and upgrade the package with the hope that when support finally responded they could merge or transfer my main characters to the account with the credits. My surprise is that after 2 whole months of them answering me, their response is that they can't do anything...
As a software developer I wonder, is it so difficult to change the identifiers of the database records? Are they going to delete every response or post where I express my situation? Dernier bump le 11 févr. 2025 20:45:10

" What was their full answer. A "can't do anything" seems a bit unlikely. |

So you tried to merch two Steam-accounts into one?

I don't know if it is "two Steam-accounts" or if this is the concept they use, I only linked the account once, it is explained in the email and those are their responses, I cannot indicate exactly the content of the support response since that causes them to delete the post, the summary is that they say they cannot do anything, which means useless for these cases, which are not few according to what has been seen in the forum |

" Hm, so why don't you play on the account where you got the points/mtx? |

" They have two ways of handling things. The first is to ask you to post feedback on the forum, and the second is to not respond at all. I followed the first approach and went to the forum to post my feedback. I wrote a detailed account of my problems, using all kinds of respectful language and polite words. However, my feedback received no response. So, I tried to post again. Just because I was asking the same question, I got a warning from GGG for violating the rules. (Of course, I know now and will abide by the rules in the future. But why did I have to post again? Wasn't it precisely because I didn't get a response that I did so?) Since they issued a warning, it means they clearly knew what I wrote. They knew the content but still chose not to reply. What a joke! I even privately messaged the GGG staff member who warned me about my questions, hoping to get some answers. But after all this time, there's still no reply. Hilarious. Only a few enthusiastic fellows were willing to discuss with me under my post. Writing really doesn't help at all. You're absolutely right about that. This kind of approach will wear down even the highest level of enthusiasm and goodwill. |

" Dude... the forum is not a place where you write something so the GGG devs answer/respond to it. You write feedback, someone at GGG probably reads it and then gets mentioned or even given to the devs if deemed feedback that has to be noted. GGG not answering wasn't something you should've expected in the first place. The few rare cases where they respond are only exceptions and don't confuse GGG mods with GGG devs. |

" Expert, you have so many titles. I assume you must be a highly knowledgeable master. I'd like to consult you about something. I play on the hardcore server, where every situation is critical. At present, I've encountered a problem that I can't explain. I still can't figure out why, after choosing the Chaos Inoculation (the 1 - life talent that immunizes against chaos damage), I was killed by a monster's damage that directly penetrated my Energy Shield before the shield was depleted. It wasn't due to the special affix on unique items that can penetrate the Energy Shield, nor the affix of potions that removes life, nor was it caused by the water - ball monster's instant - kill mechanism. Since bleeding requires damage to the life first, I'm immune to bleeding. Poison is a type of chaos damage, so I'm also immune to bleeding and poisoning. However, I still died. I've excluded all possible reasons. Based on my current knowledge, it seems to be a bug. I've encountered this situation twice, and it's only happened twice since the server launched. I've asked around, and some of my fellow players have experienced the same thing, but the cause remains a mystery. |

" I've read the post with your problem and to be fair, everything ppl mentioned there is right, but probably does not apply to your situation. Why do I think that? Because it happened to me too. On one of my characters I encountered the same problem - damage was bypassing my ES and damaged my life without any source from my side that would cause that. I was unable to find the source causing the problem because I encountered to rarely and sadly killed the mobs too fast to look at their mods, but what I noticed (don't has to be the problem) it happened when two monster types were around. So atm I have no real solution to your problem. |
