Deferring items with all tribute left

Could you add a mechanic that allows users to pay as much as they can with the remaining tribute? The current prices should represent the minimum amount required to defer, but with the added option to pay more (with a higher commission).

Also, it would be nice to have the ability to cancel a deferment and outright purchase it instead. Sometimes I misclick or change my mind.
