Dragging people to rituals

I know rituals are a poe1 mechanic, but I find dragging mobs to rituals to be very tedious. If the were all wolf-like enemies it would be fine, but trying to convince skeletal crossbowman to move is just a pain. This gets even worse if the ritual is near a vision blocking corner.

1) I would like to have a way of knowing when the ritual is full. It seems like there is a max body count, I don't know what it is or how to tell if I hit it.

2) I would like it if there was a convenient way to force monsters into the circle. Maybe standing in the circle for x amount of time forces monsters to do the same, idk.

3) I honestly don't know how much this matters, but heavy stun knockback causing a monster to get knocked out of the circle is just the cherry on the frustration cake.

Are you talking about the ritual circles in the Ascendancy trials? Or the league mechanic found in maps?

League
I'm pretty sure there's a definite limit of monster you can "sacrifice" to the altar as after some point the blood spilled on the ground doesn't flow toward the altar. Wich should be your cue to know when to stop luring monsters

I agree about the limit, but the obviously traveling blood doesn't seem to be the indicator for it.
