Request - create a setting that lets you determine the transparency level of player created effects
Some builds can't be used due to the amount of visual clutter that players create. There's so much stuff on the screen that you can't see enemy attacks.
Please add a slider or % value setting for player-created effect transparency. You could also create a separate setting for player minions, totems, ice walls, etc. This setting would increase the transparency of all player created effects, minions, totems, and ice walls. The player would be able to make all player effects completely transparent, if they wish. Make this "other player". And let it affect not just groups, but towns. And effect MTX. So I can slide the bar to 100% and not see anything from other players.

I thought about a similar thing earlier...
I'd love to have an option to severely tone down effects of my own skills. All the explosions from Herald of Ice and visual clutter it generates when mobs shatter is absurdly overtuned. I'd love for my skills to become very thin, paintbrush-like effects (so that I just know where it went and how far), and that any explosions, etc, just become completely invisible. A mob dies without exploding? Corpse just falls normally. Mob shatters? Simply vanishes Not only reduces load on the hardware, but also makes mapping much more comfortable. | |
If I were to be able to pull all GGG devs and put them on one thing, this would be it. The quickest thing that will get me to no longer play a game, is making it impossible to play with my friends. We shouldn't be forced into watching what skills we use, or others use, because of fear of getting our friends killed when they can't see anything. I almost don't want to play in a group because of the mess that we see during battles that hides all the oneshot stuff.

Yep, to be clear, the request is for a slider that affects all player-generated visual effects. This applies to your player effects, as well as all other player-generated effects. This way you don't clutter your screen, and you prevent others from cluttering your screen as well.
