Priest of the Sun beam distance is excessive
Is it really necessary for Priests of the Sun to be able to beam you from offscreen? Do people find that fun? :P

Inb4 it should go at least 3 4k screens, and all of them should be open areas without blocking terrain.
That one is the worst, but I also had some of the sniper dudes from the Count's castle nail me with an off screen beam too. Much fun. |

range is way too long, it can off-screen you if you agro it. what i found interesting is that the damage is not consistent neither. one time this white mob took me out before i could even blink, on a low tier map

I do find the amount of stuff that comes from off screen BS. I can't target them from that far away as a ranged class, why can I be targeted from that distance.

There should be no attacks coming from off-screen whatsoever. Wasn't that lesson already learned in PoE 1?

Well, I found that pretty nasty.
My build is a gas grenades for armor break and high velocity shots. And my gas have a huge area of effect so I able to touch monsters out of screen, but low damage as it's not a main source. Usually I able just to shoot out almost anything running in my direction, well if I see it. But for Sun Priests... As touched, they start to cast that beam in few seconds. And most of the time it happens out of my screen. Poison kill them eventually, but too late. So half of my death events now is that beam out of nowhere. Is it possible to let them cast only if they actually see the character? |
