POE2 ui is much, much better than poe ui

also has quality of life improvements like abolishing portals, introducing gold as a currency that can be used to respec, gems now are shown and grouped, videos about what a gem does .The art sound and worldbuilding is awesome (i hope they dont reuse areas to other acts) Also combat it slower and more strategic.Love the game so far, thinking to buy the King of Faridoun pack. Well done, GGG!

Even though gold respec is a PoE 2 feature, we got it in PoE 1 before PoE 2 released :P

But yes, PoE 2 is better than PoE 1 in several areas, mainly presentation. While the combat is slower and more "strategic" (early on), it's closer to PoE 1 in the endgame than it is to the early acts.

Glad you enjoy it. I did too, until I tasted the endgame and found out how shallow the game really is (IMO).

PoE 2 can be a VERY good game, but it has a long way to go. But hey, the potential is there. Now it's important to tell GGG how and where the game sucks, so it can reach its potential.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
unique are bad
maps are bad (too long and big)
backtracking make me real sad hh
tree is useless
skill force you to play as ggg what to
Caracter too slow
drops in campgine are soo bad force you to trade = bad
there is no intended way to get power while playing no meta build (warbringer)
there is no crafting
very very bad endgame i dont think they should build the new updates around it
+ play poe 1 before talking about it lil bro

They managed to make the MTX UI almost as bad as the original implementation back in the PoE1 beta.

It manages to be both overdone (scrolling through the menu is awful) and lacking (no paper doll for quick swaps) at the same time.
PoE2 is a great tutorial for PoE1.
I'm still on the fence about gold. I understand it makes the game more accessible to new players but not sure them largely replacing a currency system devised to replace gold in the first place didn't just make things more generic-arpg.

As to gems the videos are nice but the uncut gem system and skills ui has some serious head scratching issues. Also the opportunity to take out more modifiers entirely was right there.

To me many things feel like 5 years of development went into optimizing the player experience on the very first playthrough. Beyond that the head scratching begins for me.
They said they wanted the mobile gamers audience, i can see why they are at home with poe2 ui.
