Setting request: Controller vibration when taking damage only

It would be nice if there were a setting to turn on vibration ONLY when you are taking damage.

There is a constant vibration when using Poisonous Concoction (among other player skills), which makes it harder to tell when you are taking damage.

Yes 100%. I can't tell u how many times I've died in a puddle of corrupted blood or burning ground cause I have no idea I'm taking damage there. Even dot attack on u should keep vibrating ur controller to make u aware u need to take action.
