Monk: Balbala, The Traitor (Act 2)

Hi!

Just wanted to give some feedback on the Balbala fight from a Monk’s perspective in Act 2.

She hits like a truck, has really high attack speed, and for some reason, her accuracy is insane. Monks at this point don’t have much for defenses besides evasion, so this fight is already tough. But on top of that, she moves constantly, and it feels like she has no cooldowns, which means the window to actually hit her is super small.

The bell being stationary makes this even worse since she barely stands still long enough for it to be useful. And if you grab the coin she drops to prevent the spawning of the monster, good luck because there is basically no time to deal damage at all. As a melee Monk, you are basically waiting for a tiny opening when she is not jumping around, and even then you have to back off quickly just to let life potions keep up with the damage she is dealing.

I know other classes don’t struggle with her as much, but for Monk, this is easily the hardest campaign boss considering how early she shows up. Not saying she should be nerfed into the ground, but maybe slow her down a bit or give her some actual downtime between attacks. Just my two cents.

Thank you!
