Skill Tree is the biggest "Replay-ability" Problem

Hopefully the Dev's are well aware of this, they did say one of the main problems they see with PoE2 is build option diversity. The skill tree is THE core mechanic that made PoE1 so good, you must have the ability to reach and use any area of the skill tree with any starting class. AND having passives change depending on what class you choose "eg witch and sorceress" is totally against the core principle of this, Ascendancies cover this difference in Class, skill tree should not.

As an example i cant wait to make a shadow minion build in PoE1 using the "Servant of Arakaali" Ascendancy, but its only going to be viable because you can go anywhere you like on the PoE1 skill tree.

Also the Infernalists Hound ascendancy skill is way too powerful, it makes playing any other class as a minion build a bad decision.

Absolutely true. I’d also point out that the skill tree lacks many crucial stats. It’s meant to complement gear by filling in stat gaps and allowing for more flexibility in builds. However, it ends up locking you into a specific playstyle and forces you to look for very specific gear.

Add absence of proper crafting, and you’re left with crazy inflation and a progression system that feels boring and uncontrollable by the player.
